Here's a flavor-forward, balanced bowl with a zippy dressing and optional fruit flourish.
Marinade for Salmon (quick + tasty):
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- Tiny pinch of chili flakes (or black pepper)
Salmon Prep:
- Cube the salmon into bite-size chunks.
- Toss with the marinade and let sit 10β15 min.
- Sear in a hot pan (or grill) for 1β2 min per side until cooked but tender.
π Base Layer β Rice:
- Use your homemade chicken broth rice (sounds delicious!)
- Serve warm or at room temp.

- π§ Onion: thin slices, quick-pickled if desired (just a splash of vinegar and sugar for 10 min)
- π₯ Cucumber: diced or thin half-moons for crunch
